Safety is always our priority.  With that being said, guests, visitors and volunteers will be limited in school buildings due to COVID-19 and the Michigan Executive Orders.  As we still believe that actively engaged parents are key to their child's educational success, it is at this time that it will take on a new way of doing so.  We encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher through email, Remind or online to see how best you can help them from home.

Stay Safe - Stay Healthy.    #VikingPride

Decades of research show that when parents are involved in their child's school, the students have:

  • Higher grades, test scores and graduation rates

  • Better school attendance

  • Increased motivation, better self-esteem

  • Lower rates of discipline issues

Because research clearly ties student success to parental involvement, Eastside Connections School wants to make every effort to involve as many of you as possible.

There are many ways to volunteer at school for the benefit of your child, grandchild and other family members, as well as the rest of the students at our school. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact our Parent Volunteer Coordinator, Annemieke Kosten. She will send Volunteer Availability and Consent forms home for you to complete and return or you may click on the Volunteer Packet located on the left to download yourself.
